In Georgia, after thorough preparation, a cow farm was officially opened by the Dutch Ambassador in July 2021 (https://www.cicmission.org/news/dairy-farm-opening).
Meanwhile, 32 cows from the Netherlands have calved and there is an increasing production of milk. Land has been purchased and prepared for the cultivation of fodder.
The goal is to have about 150 dairy cows with largely self-sufficient feed production.
The farm provides work in the area where most of the population is Muslim, but also employs bible school students from Iran and other countries.
Future surpluses from this agricultural enterprise will benefit the CiC-Mission activities.
We think this is a good example of business supporting CiC-Mission in various ways.
